Duke University, as well as other american universities and business schools, require their graduate international students to comply with some immunization requirements, which will depend on the country of origin of the student and the US state where your school is located.
At Duke, international students must prove that they have been vaccinated, among others, of the following: tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, polio and hepatitis B. Some vaccines require a boost injection.
We need that our general practitioner would sign a form where they state that we comply with all the requirements, and that we have had the required boost injections, if necessary.
I plan to visit the doctor next week, let’s hope I don’t need too many injections! I hate needles!
